What is Social Service ?
It is a temporary and obligatory activity for students that permits them:
- To consolidate their academic formation
- To practice what they the knowledge acquired in their studies
- To become conscious of social reality particularly of that of the most vulnerable sectors, such as the disabled people in this case
- To extend the benefits of techniques and culture to society
- To return a bit of what they have received from society in their public studies
- To learn to act with solidarity, reciprocatingly and in teams

What are my Duties?
- To apply to the correct instances for insertion into the Social Service
- To do the activities on the program on time and in form, professionally and ethically
- To turn in the reports asked for on your activities while on duty
- To notify the institute in writing the causes for dropping out, if he case arises
- To respect the policies and norms of the institution
In wich cases can my social service be suspended?
- Not complying with the duties in your contract
- Not conducting yourself ethically
- Not turning in the reports and/or products required by the institution

The institutions commitments
- To adhere to the established policies and norms.
- To inform the student who the coordinator or person in charge of the program will be supervising and evaluating them in their duties in the social service.
- To treat them professionally
- To inform their university or school of their irresponsibility, if the case arises
- To help students with their paper work for their school
- To provide induction to the institution
- To give them information on the program, material and equipment needed to do their duties
- To on time notify them of any changes in their duties to the person in charge
- To hand them in on time and form the documentation required by their school
Requirements that I must comply with before coming:
- To sign up for a specific program in CIRIAC.
- To have the proper authorization from your school.
- To comply with the established time table .
- To turn in the reports and products asked for.
Abilities and Attitudes that are expected of a Social Service Student:
- To be sensitive to the needs of disabled people
- To act responsibly and have a commitment to work
